Our Partner Families are low-income working families in our community. They are required to make a down-payment, contribute 500 hours of “sweat equity” and pay for their home through an interest free, no-profit mortgage. They come from all walks of life and through Sea Island Habitat for Humanity, will become first-time homeowners. Sea Island Habitat also partners with the Habitat affiliates in Ghana, Africa and in Paraguay to help build homes overseas. 10% of all unrestricted donations to SIHH are “tithed” to these affiliates. Through this program, we’ve funded about 300 homes in these developing countries Read our newsletter Keep current with Habitat for Humanity's quarterly newsletter. Receive
